"Sometimes, I wonder if I love ye."

Spain jerks his head up, staring wide-eyed at England, who continues to pace and idly fix his cuffs. After a moment, he stops and gives Spain a long look. Predictable as always, he decides, and continues his pacing.

"And then I remember I hate ye."

Spain rolls his eyes a little and looks back down, back to trying to slip out of the restraints put on his hands. England stops again - Spain doesn't see, too preoccupied - and kneels in front of him, watches with amusement with a pipe gripped tightly between his teeth. He takes it out and pockets it - nothing was in it, after all, as he didn't like to smoke all that much - and tilts Spain's head back up and kisses him, shortly, before standing back and laughing at the dumbfounded expression that follows.

"There's th'solution."
