Title: One, Two, Three
Characters: Spain, England
Rating: G
For LJ's 30smiles' bonus prompt 'repetition'. There is not enough school-verse in my life. Human names used.
“One, two, three, one, two, three, one, two three—speed it along, Arturo, or you’ll never get the hang of it.”
Even if the moves were simple ones, even if they were repeated through the song, Arthur couldn’t get the hang of it in a quicker scene. He was too used to the slow waltzes and dances of private schools; he favored his left leg, even more so this week than the last as his ankle had been sprained attempting to do this dance with Antonio; he hated the salsa or the tarantella or whatever it was the idiot Spaniard was trying to teach him for his eighteenth birthday party.
Really, Arthur sincerely would’ve been fine with something less… strenuous.
“Have you ever considered I might not want to attend your party in the first place, Antonio?”
“No, but that’s because you accepted the invitation and said you’d come three weeks ago.”
Ah. Right.
“This’ll only be one dance, Arturo. Don’t make such a big deal. Otherwise it’s a little more…”
Antonio flashed him a grin and a wink, pulling Arthur flush against him and whispering into his ear,
“Sensual.”
