Title: y is for yell
Characters: Spada Belforma, Luca Milda

He's up in a flash the second he hears a yell behind him, swinging himself around from the open window and feeling the tension fall from his shoulders as Luca turns in his sleep, face scrunched slightly in pain. Spada drops his hands to his knees and leans back against the window, resting his head on the corner between the hinges, and feels his eyes slide close again. He wants to just leave Luca by himself - he probably wouldn't wake up for another day or two - but the guilt of not being able to protect him (and the thought of Luca waking up alone and thinking they left him, instead of the opposite) catches him and scolds him every time.
(Staying there is a punishment of sorts, too; others can come and take his shift, but he doesn't leave his boy for too long and keeps always keeps an ear out for him.)
