Luca’s seven years old when his mother points out he has a crush on the cute red haired girl in his class. Despite his protests of how icky girls were and how he didn’t like them, he knows she’s right; every time that girl passes by him, he feels his heart thunder and he forgets how to speak. Him, Asura, forgetting how to speak!
It reminds him of the day he met Inanna (how her beauty left him breathless, as she knelt and offered both herself and the Holy Sword forged by Ratio’s finest blacksmith) and he’s fascinated by the idea that maybe, he’s met her again. He pursues her with flowers and terrible poems, things that barely rhymed or not at all, and his reward is laughter and a rejection stapled with who would want to go out with the weird kid? It makes him a little angry - who would refuse the great leader of Sensus’s armies? - and it’s hard to keep the smile off his face when she gets her pretty red hair caught in some gum that had been accidentally left on the back of her seat.
