Title: e is for eternity
Characters: Spada Belforma, Luca Milda

One night, he awakes to the feel of someone’s hand hovering over his lips. The hand draws away almost as soon as he does and he opens his eyes and turns his head, finding Spada sitting on the edge of his bed. Luca rubs his eyes tiredly and tugs his shirt, a frown beginning to crease his forehead.
“Is everything all right?”
Spada doesn’t answer for a moment, watching Luca; it makes him feel as if something’s wrong, and he opens his mouth to ask again when Spada turns his head and carefully pulls Luca’s fingers from his shirt.
“Yeah, s’cool. Go back to sleep, all right? Ain’t nothin’ to be awake for.”
Luca nods and tucks his hands by his chest again, closing his eyes; what feels like a forever passes before he feels Spada’s fingers on his hair, drifting easily over it. The bed shifts up as Spada stands up and finds his way back over to his own; that bed creaks as he slips into it, and it’s only then that Luca allows himself to fall back asleep.
