Title: flashes of color
Characters: Spada Belforma (annnd his first girlfriend)
Rating: G

Their first date features climbing up to the rooftops of Regnum to watch the fireworks for the new year; she's a warm line fitted against his side, fingers curled around his arm and head nestled by his collarbone. She oohs and aahs at every flash of color in the sky while he traces the lines of her face with his eyes, watching the fireworks reflect in her eyes and on the white of her skin. She says something quietly, and while he doesn't hear it exactly he nods and shoots her a smile, getting one in return. Spada closes his eyes and keeps his arm tight around her, their legs swinging off the edge of the building, and can't help but feel a little smug; his brothers might've taken away everything else he had (the comfort of home, the safety of his room, good food) but they couldn't take away the girl in his arms. He wouldn't let them, no more than he'd let them take his pride. He's drawn out of his thought when she tugs his shoulder; he peeks open an eye lazily, looking down at her, and tenses when she kisses him. It's only for a moment he does (it's a moment he hopes she doesn't notice) before he returns it, grinning against her lips.
She's cute when she blushes.
