Title: b is for battle

61/365. also for the alphabet writing exercise, with day two's prompt: b is for battle or beautiful. decided on battle for this one.
It isn't often she gets to battle; most of the other members did that for her, willingly giving up their life for their beautiful, dearest Lady Mathias, and she's fine with that - dirtying one's hands is a terrible thing, especially with unclean blood of those that despise you for being born. Sometimes, though, it's unavoidable; sometimes those that come to join Arca have a grudge against Asura, and they can feel his soul resonating within her body. Those are the times she fights, raising her staff and sweeping the field with explosions of fire and hurtled rocks from the sky. Those are the times she releases her anger and frustration at the world (the world she hates, the world that should be destroyed, the world that cursed her birth and was wrought from Inanna's betrayal) and there are times in those times that a solider gets a little too close for comfort. Dirtying one's hands is a terrible thing, especially with the unclean blood of those that despise you for the things you did in a life you never lived, and while she does not draw a pleasure in slamming her staff through their guts, something alights in her that makes her laugh and crave for more.
