“Can we rest for the night? I'm tired.” Luneth glances back at the complaint, a thoughtful look on his features. Arc's leaning against a tree, sweltering under his black mage cloak, and it's hard not to laugh at the sight. Refia doesn't pull any punches (she giggles at the sight, prompting a wry look from the bookwormy mage) and Ingus sighs, removing his hat and sitting down.
“I think that would be a fine idea.”
Arc gives him a relieved look and settles beside him, removing his as well. Luneth cocks his hip to the side slightly, thinking, then shrugs, flopping down opposite of his best friend.
“Sure, why not. We'll just have to make up for lost time in the morning though.”
“Arc'll just get even more tired then --”
“No I won't! … Let's just sleep, okay..?”
“Wait, what about dinner?”
“With what food?”
Refia groans a little and casts a mournful look at their packs.
“I wish we had bought some instead of stocking up on potions and elixirs. Why do you mages need so much of it?”
Arc turns a little red and raise his hands threateningly – although he really doesn't look like it, sweating and flushed in embarrassment. Luneth grins at the sight – it's been a long while since Arc was relaxed around anyone but him, and that had taken a while to get in the beginning; it makes him happy to see the boy making new friends easier, even if they were thrown together by circumstance and a duty given to them by a talking crystal.
