Title: knight's costume

“The hell's with that get up?”
Luca jumps at the sound of Spada's voice and turns around, folding his hands behind his back and frowning slightly. The 'get-up' was something he had gotten from an old man while they were in Mamut and it was, admittedly, a little ridiculous looking-- but enough to warrant that kind of response?
“It's, um... It's a knight's costume--”
“Most ridiculous lookin' knight I ever saw.” Spada pauses to give him another look over and grins, an idea coming to him. “You thinkin' it'll make you stronger or somethin' so you can keep protectin' Iria?”
Luca starts to shake his head, but he knows it's useless to lie to Spada, so he switches it to a nod and sighs. Spada laughs and smacks him on the back, shoving him forward a little.
“Ain' gonna help you any if you ain' out there showin' it off, you know. Go on, get.”
“W-What!? N-No way, not dressed like this--”
“It was your idea in the first place, dumbass, just go with it!”
Spada gives him a harder shove and Luca stumbles forward, feeling his temperature rise when Iria takes one look at him and starts sniggering. Even Ange is hard-pressed not to laugh, and Luca wishes the ground would just swallow him up.
Or Spada. That'd be just fine, too.
