Title: Cuts and Kisses
Characters: Eco, Belca

Uh. Spoilers for chapters 29 and 30?
Belca sits at the edge of Eco's bed, watching him sleep; there's pain scratched on the side of his face that he can see clearly, and guilt washes over him anew. He brushes some hair from the bard's face, pauses when his fingers touch bandage, and scowls.
'It isn't like he's going to know about it anyways. He's asleep.'
He lets his fingers trail down the side of Eco's face, pursing his lips when they finally ghost past bandage and onto skin, and presses a kiss softly to Eco's bandaged eye. Eco stirs a little, but remains asleep, and Belca's glad for it. He tucks the blankets tighter around him, starts to get up, hesitates, and climbs into bed beside him.
