( It doesn't occur to him right then that maybe she's not used to this (taking orders from someone lower than her, trying to be comfortable and safe without her armor, little things like that) but he holds her close, presses a kiss to her temple and feels a smirk stretch thin on his lips when he feels her bite his shoulder in a tired retaliation. )
