"Daddy! I found it!" Luca's daughter calls, holding up a red painted egg, and he laughs, jogging over to to take it from her and kiss her on the top of her head. She grins, holding out her now-empty hands, and he doles out her prize - two ten gald coins. She shrieks in happiness and runs to her brother to show them off; he frowns, sore at losing, and goes on collecting the leftovers. Luca leans back and watches the two, rubbing his thumb over the simplistic designs of the winning egg and wondering if an egg hunt was a tradition that was going to hold over the years.
