Title: Follow Them Until The End
Characters: Kiliko, Eco
Rating: PG

This... loosely takes place after that porn fic I just posted?? something IDK

"Order a dog what to do, and he shall fulfill it to his master's content."

Kiliko looks up from his paperwork and spies (Francesco) Eco leaning against the opposite wall. He grips the quill tighter in his fingers, almost enough to snap it, and the (heir who had run away) bard laughs.

"Are you really so low as to take orders like that, Nathanael?"

The old name fits him like a worn glove, and he shakes it off as well as the anger rising in his gut.

"If His Highness wishes it, then it's my duty as his attendant to procure it for him."

"I guess even the royalty's subject to the simpler pleasures in life."

Eco steps towards him slowly, like a cat cornering a mouse, but Kiliko won't be the mouse anymore; he stands up, grips the edge of the desk, and smiles as plesant as he can when the young blond stops in front of him.

"Even you, Francesco, even though you don't hold that title anymore."

Eco laughs and locks his fingers together in front of him, bending them down, like a child.

"Then don't call me by that name! It's such a stuffy one, don't you think? I think Eco sounds cuter."

Kiliko grits his teeth, and grinds them when Eco slips a hand onto the desk and spiders it across fresh ink and smearing signatures. It stops when he's leaning halfway over it, in a mock bow to the esteemed attendant to the Prince Orcelito and Kiliko swallows back a bark. It doesn't stop bitterness from reaching into his voice, however, as much as he hates it.

"Aren't you supposed to be with His Highness Belca?"

Eco sucks in his cheeks, drags his hand along the parchments and smears ink across the desk as he nods; he leans his hand on his cheek, ink staining the fair skin and a wicked grin lifting in his eyes.

"I just wanted to congratulate you on becoming the next king's concubine."

Eco's out as soon as Kiliko grabs the heaviest object he can find and chucks it at him; it misses, of course, and slams against the wall instead. He breathes quietly, attempting to restore some sort of calm, before sitting back down and grimacing at the ruined paperwork.
